Roselyn Sanchez was born to a marketing businessman father. She had 3 elder brothers. She did her earlier schooling from San Jaun only. Roselyn showed her interest in singing and dancing at a very young age. She started taking ballet lesson at age 4 and piano lesson at age 6. In 1991, she took dancing, singing and acting classes in New York . As a outcome she landed with a small role in movie Captain Ron.

But as Roselyn Sanchez hailed from marketing business family, her father and brothers insisted her to take a marketing degree. So she started studying marketing in University of Puerto Rico. But after studying three years , Roselyn found that this is not the field where she can spend her own life. So she took a hard decision and left the education in between.

In 1993, Roselyn Sanchez made an entry for Miss Puerto Rico petite contest, as she was stunning beautiful, she won the contest and in 1994, she won Miss America petite contest. This gave her fame and name. Subsequently Roselyn got a role in Puerto Rico best variety show “Que Vacilion”. It was a huge success and she made her in household of Puerto Rico.

Later Roselyn Sanchez came back to New York. There she got the role of Pilar Domingo in CBS soap opera, As The World Turns. Pilar Domingo was the first Latina character in the 40 years history of soap opera.

A big break through came in Roselyn Sanchez career, when she got a role in big production move Rush Hour 2, there she played the role of a secret agent which has also Jackie Chan’s love interest in the movie. Later Roselyn also got a role in Chasing Papi. Till then she has acted in more than 20 movies which includes role of maria in Edison, role of karan lopez in Underclassman, Venus & Vegas, Cayo.

Roselyn Sanchez has shown her hands in the area of singing as well. She release her first reocording in 2005 with name Borinquena. Now she also composing a musical for a singer/actress/dancer ( basically herself) who leaves Puerto Rico to reach new heights in new york.

Roselyn Sanchez is stunning and surprisingly beautiful. She has been on Maxim hot 100 in 2001, 2002 and 2006, FHM 100 sexiest women in 2005, 2006, Askmen top 99 most beautiful women. On the personal front she had not been so strong. Roselyn married actor Gary Stretch in 1999 but they divorced after two years, later she fall in love with salsa singer Victor Manuelle but this relationship did not last long and they separated in 2005. Currently she is dating with Eric Winter.
